Introduction
The London Atelier has been commissioned to design a dental practice, the Aloe Vera Dental Studio
in Chelmsford, Essex.
A vacant shop was transformed into a modern dental practice space through close collaboration with the client and the latest Hygiene and Heath and Safety regulations of this particular industry.

Spatial Arrangement
The practice is efficiently laid out to include three treatment rooms, a decontamination room, an OPG room, reception and waiting area. Further we enabled an office, a staff kitchenette, a disabled toilet and a staff toilet with changing facilities.
There is also ample space for storing a wide range of items within London Atelier's design.

The new Aloe Vera Dental Studio perfectly reflects the ethos of the dental practice meeting the requirements of both the dentist and their patients. In addition, it meets the latest CQC standards.
We ensured that each element and detail within the scheme was carefully crafted, created, and coordinated by London Atelier in order to achieve the desired result.
This included ongoing design discussions with Dr Setoodeh throughout the design process.
Waiting Area and Tea Point
Colour Palette
The chosen colour palette has been created with the ambition to emphasise a clean and sterile look. However, it also has the hint of the natural and healing image of the Aloe Vera plant. The green in various elements and areas reflects this typically. The practice is light and spacious, and it combines a modern materiality with functionality for years to come.
