Ralf Eikelberg

Ralf Eikelberg studied and practised as an Interior Architect in Germany before graduating from the Bartlett with a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture. He has been a senior member of Gumuchdjian Architects and collaborated with Future Systems and Haworth Tompkins Architects before becoming a director at London Atelier.

Prior to his time in London, he was involved in the master planning and architectural practice of Steidle+Partner and L-plan, a lighting design firm, both based in Berlin. Further, he has worked for the Italian Architect Paolo Portoghesi in Rome. Ralf has been involved in high-profile projects ranging from town planning to public and residential buildings and exhibitions. These projects included the London Library, News International London, St. Marylebone School extension, the Hauser+Wirth Gallery in London and the new Centre Pompidou Metz, France.

Several projects won numerous awards, including the National RIBA Award in 2008, and 2010 for both public and private buildings, steel and concrete awards and the prestigious RIBA Stephen Lawrence prize with Gumuchdjian Architects.

Pouya Zamanpour RIBA FRSA

RIBA Accredited Conservation Registerant, BA (Hons) Architecture, PGDip Architecture (UCL), PGCert Professional Practice in Architecture (UCL), PGDip Cultural Studies

Pouya is an architect and an educator with a wide experience in working with museums and cultural institutions, heritage sites and highly designed residential projects. His research focuses on the relationship between buildings and narratives and the potential of spaces to tell stories.  

Prior to forming London Atelier, Pouya led the design and delivery of many complex museums and cultural projects such as the exhibition design of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, redevelopment of the Museum of the Order of St John in Clerkenwell, the Holburne Museum in Bath, First Emperor (the Terracotta Warriors) exhibition at the British Museum, the Sur-i-Sultani (Topkapi) strategic Vision in Istanbul, the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Siemens Urban Sustainability Centre in London and the Russian Polytechnic Museum in Moscow. 

Pouya teaches architecture at Oxford Brooks University and has been a visiting critic at Architecture schools such as the Bartlett (UCL), The Architectural Association, Royal College of Arts, Kingston and South Bank Universities.   

Harry Westbrook

Architectural Designer

Harry graduated from the Architectural Association in London before moving to New York and working for Davis Brody Bond on high end residential and commercial projects for a number of years.

Upon returning to London he has focused mainly on luxury residential and has a particular passion for detailing and finding innovative solutions to the craft of making buildings.

Lapo Saladini ARB

Certified Passive House Designer 

Lapo graduated from the University of Florence, Italy, with a Master’s degree in Architecture, gaining professional experience during his work in Barcelona, Spain, as part of Arriola & Fiol as an Architectural Assistant and in Italy as Project Architect.

He joined London Atelier in 2019 and has developed his knowledge in listed building renovation, redevelopment and new sustainable constructions.

Lapo has acquired wide-ranging experience spanning the early stages of design to construction.
He became a Certified Passive House Designer in 2021.
